Music should be as easy to turn on as turning on the lights. Open the section relevant for your product to see how easy it is to start playback.

When your speaker is set up through the Bang & Olufsen app, the Favourite buttons will have the four most popular radio stations in your location added automatically, which can be started with a single touch.

The four Favourites* can be modified to fit your personal preference for a radio station or Spotify playlist.

To store a Favourite, see How do I use Favourites on my speaker?

When pressing the Play/Pause button from standby, the speaker will start playing the last played local source**.

* Favourites can be accessed on Beosound A9 5th Gen using the Bang & Olufsen app, Beoremote One BT or Beoremote Halo

** If the last used source was e.g. AirPlay or Google Cast, the speaker cannot re-initiate the music stream, as this is controlled from the source streaming device.

When briefly pressing the One-touch button on the speaker, it will check if there are any ongoing music experiences to join. If this is the case, the speaker will join the experience, and if not, it will start the first internal source in the Local source list. The Local source list can be modified, using the Bang & Olufsen app.

From the front page of the app, select Settings -> Products, select your product, press Configure, select Your Content -> Sources -> In local list. Here you can enable/disable and change the order of sources.
