The widget for iOS gives you quick access to essential functions without opening the Bang & Olufsen app. You can create as many widgets as you like and customise them to control your products and favourite functions.
Note: Connected Audio products launched in 2020 or later can be selected as the primary product. |
How to add a widget ⬇

To enter Edit mode, press and hold an empty area of the Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.
Tap 'Edit' in the upper-left corner. |

Tap 'Add Widget'.

Scroll down and select 'Bang & Olufsen'.

Swipe left and right to browse available widget layouts. Tap 'Add Widget' to continue. |
Small widget ⬇

In Edit mode, tap the widget you wish to edit. If not in Edit mode, touch and hold the widget. |

Product (mandatory): Followers (optional): Buttons (editable):
Tap outside the widget editor to save. |

The widget is now set up. Tap the icons to activate the different functions, or tap the product image to open the Bang & Olufsen app. |
Large widget ⬇

In Edit mode, tap the widget you wish to edit. If not in Edit mode, touch and hold the widget. |

Product (mandatory): Followers (optional): Custom (editable): Buttons 1-3 cannot be customised in the large widget.
Tap outside the widget editor to save. |

The widget is now set up. Tap the icons to activate the different functions, or tap the product image to open the Bang & Olufsen app. |
Lock Screen widget ⬇

On the Lock Screen, press and hold an empty area to enter Edit mode.
Tap 'Customise' at the bottom of the screen. |

Tap 'Add Widgets'.
Scroll down and select 'Bang & Olufsen'. |

Select the widget to add it to the widget area. In Edit mode, tap the widget to select a product. If not in Edit mode, touch and hold the widget. |

Product (mandatory): Followers (optional): Left/Right buttons (editable):
Tap the close icon to save. |

The Lock Screen widget is now set up.

Note: The Bang & Olufsen widget requires your device to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Bang & Olufsen products. The widget may be visible in CarPlay, but it only functions when your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Bang & Olufsen speakers.
