It is possible to use the USB-C input in the connection panel as a Line-in socket. You need to use a passive USB-C to 3.5 mm jack adapter which can be purchased from an authorised Bang & Olufsen retailer.
Connect the line-in source to the primary speaker in a stereo setup.
|
By default, Line-in is automatically activated when it senses a signal. It can also be manually selected using a Beoremote One, Beoremote Halo or the Bang & Olufsen app.
The sensitivity can be adjusted (Low/Medium/High) or disabled. Navigate to "Sound settings" for Beolab 8 in the Bang & Olufsen app and select "Line-in sensitivity".

Sound from Line-in can be distributed to other rooms using Beolink Multiroom. For more information on how to Join and Expand using Beolink Multiroom, click here.
Line-in is not intended for use for sound from video sources.
