What do the red/amber/white/blue lights on my BeoSound 1 indicate?

Status LED (on top of the product in the middle of the touch plate): 

White (shortly)

Switched on. When operated

White flashing slowly

Charging battery

Red solid

Battery capacity between 0 – 10 % (needs charging)

Red flashing fast

Battery capacity below 2% (will soon switch off)

Hardware error

Note that when battery capacity drops below 10%, sound volume is lowered. When capacity drops below 2%, BeoSound 1 switches off.

You can see the battery capacity and the state of the battery in the Bang & Olufsen App. Open the app, go to ‘ABOUT’ and then ‘STATUS’.

Lens LED (in the middle, under the touch plate):
