What is Head Tracking on Beoplay H100

Head Tracking is a feature of Spatial Audio.

When Spatial Audio is enabled, you can choose to enable or disable Head Tracking.

When disabled, sound will be perceived to remain fixed to your headphones, meaning that as you rotate your head, the sound will rotate with you.

Once enabled, they track your head orientation and virtually rotate the sound such that it is perceived to remain fixed to a point in space in the real world.

When you enable Head Tracking in the app, Beoplay H100 will register the direction of your head and place the centre of the sound accordingly. However, if they detect a different direction for more than 10 seconds, the centre of the sound will adjust to this.

Note:
When selecting Immersive, Head Tracking is enabled by default.
When selecting Virtualise, Head Tracking is disabled by default.

Head Tracking is often a useful feature when consuming audio-visual content as the audio remains anchored to the visual component, as it would when listening over loudspeakers.
