How do I update my Beoplay H100 with the latest software?

To enjoy the latest product features, we recommend that you always install the latest software version.

You can update the software via the Bang & Olufsen app:

 

1. As new software downloads in the background*, you will be able to use your phone and Beoplay H100 while the software is downloading in the background to the device (approx. 20-40 minutes).

2. Press Software update > Restart now. 
Beoplay H100 will take approximately 30 seconds to reboot. When the indicator turns solid white, they are ready for use.

*The Background updates setting is enabled by default. This means that the app will download updates and notify you when they are ready to install.


The options for software update are:

Background updates

When enabled in the app, the update process is seamless and effortless.

If an update is available, it will begin downloading in the background. You can continue using your headphones as usual.

If your switch off the headphones during the download, the update will pause and automatically resume the next time you switch them on and open the app.

Once the download is complete, you receive a notification prompting you to restart and complete the installation.

To ensure updates are downloaded smoothly, keep the app running in the background.

 

Manual updates

If you prefer to update without actively using your headphones, you have the option to disable the automatic on/off feature. You just need to keep the headphones close to your phone during the update.
