How do I reset Beosound A1 3rd Gen and remove all paired Bluetooth devices?

If you want to remove all paired Bluetooth devices or are experiencing issues while trying to connect, you can reset your Beosound A1 3rd Gen to factory settings as described below:

Fully charge the Beosound A1 3rd Gen

  • Connect the included USB cable to the speaker and to a charging adapter and connect the charging adapter to a power supply.*
  • After charging the Beosound A1 3rd Gen for around 3 hours, proceed to the next steps

Switch on Beosound A1 3rd Gen

  • Switch on your Beosound A1 3rd Gen by pressing the power button

Reset Beosound A1 3rd Gen

  • Press and hold the Bluetooth and the power buttons simultaneously for more than 6 seconds. 
    This resets the speaker to factory settings, and the speaker will be in Bluetooth pairing mode when you switch it on.

After resetting you will need to pair your Beosound A1 3rd Gen to your mobile device again. This means that you need to remove Beosound A1 3rd Gen from the list of paired Bluetooth devices on your mobile device before adding it again.

*Accepts up to 5 V / 3 A (15 W). You can safely use a higher‑wattage USB charger, but the product will draw a maximum of 15 W.
