The light indicators on the Beosound A1 3rd Gen can be read as follows:

Product indicator (on the top)
White (solid)Switched on
White (double pulse)Open for Bluetooth pairing
White (quick pulse)Wireless Stereo setup mode
Green (quick pulse)Incoming call
Green (solid)In a speakerphone/conference call
Green (slow pulse)Software update in progress
Red (solid)Microphone is muted (when in a call)
Red (solid - for 3 seconds)Pairing failed (Wireless Stereo or Bluetooth)
Amber (solid)Factory reset completed
Amber (quick pulse)Factory reset initiated

 

Battery indicator (on the lower side)
Green (solid)Battery fully charged
Amber (slow pulse)  Battery charging
Amber (solid)Between 50% and 20% battery
Red (solid)Less than 20% battery
