How do I set up my Beosound A1 3rd Gen without using the Bang & Olufsen app?

To set up Beosound A1 3rd Gen without the Bang & Olufsen app, follow the steps below:

Switch on Beosound A1 3rd Gen

  • Switch on the speaker by pressing the Power button.
  • The light indicator on the top of your Beosound A1 3rd Gen turns solid white when Beosound A1 3rd Gen is ready to be set up.

    Note: The solid white light will switch off after 15 minutes during operation to conserve battery life.

Initiate Bluetooth pairing

  • Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.
  • The light indicator will double pulse white, and your Beosound A1 3rd Gen is ready to connect to your device (phone, computer, tablet, etc.)

Connect to your favourite device

  • Turn on Bluetooth on your device (phone, computer, tablet, etc.) to scan for new devices.
  • Beosound A1 3rd Gen will appear as an available connection.
  • Tap Beosound A1 3rd Gen to connect.
  • Once selected, Beosound A1 3rd Gen will make a sound prompt.
  • Your Beosound A1 3rd Gen is now ready to be used.
