Beoplay Portal Own Voice

Considering that Beoplay Portal are also used for conversations, a new feature called Own Voice has been added. With the Own Voice feature, you can control the amount of microphone input routed back into your headphones, enabling you to adjust the level of your own voice. Basically, you can choose how much of your own voice and surroundings you want to hear and how much you want blocked out. Since this feature is mainly only focused on conversations, it is available in your Beoplay Portal when the microphones are active.

If you are going to use your headphones mainly for gaming, you can customise how to use the left touch bar using the Bang & Olufsen app to get Game/Chat Balance for Xbox instead of ANC/Own Voice. And do not forget that you can always use the app to adjust Game/Chat Balance and that that the microphones can be muted directly on the headphones as well as in the app.

An icon showing whether the microphone is the muted or unmuted is visible on the Beoplay Portal product page in the app, and when muted, the status light indicator next to Power/Bluetooth button will turn red.
