What happens if the Bang & Olufsen app is not used for setup of my Beolab 28?

To get the full Bang & Olufsen experience, we recommend setting up using the Bang & Olufsen app, which lets you to enable Power Link/Wireless Power Link, automatic software update, make advanced sound settings and also provides easy access to support.

If you wish to set up your product without using the Bang & Olufsen app, you can follow the steps described below:

On your device, go to the Wi-Fi settings.
Connect to the network created by the product: "Product name-serial number".
Open a browser window and enter: 192.168.255.249
Scroll down and select your Wi-Fi network in the dropdown field. Enter the password and tap 'Connect'.
'Status' changes to 'Connected', and your product is now connected to your Wi-Fi network.
