Why aren't my Beoplay E8 Motion working properly the first time I use them?

For first-time use, place the earphones in the charging case and charge them using the USB-C cable for at least 20 minutes.

Then remove earphones from the charging case, touch the right earbud to switch them on and complete the setup procedure to play music.
