Beoplay A1 stereo pairing

If you have two Beoplay A1 speakers, you can use them as stereo speakers.

In order to set up your speakers to play the right and left audio signal for stereo sound, you can simply use the Bang & Olufsen app. You can download the Bang & Olufsen app here

    Initiate Bluetooth pairing

    Activate Bluetooth pairing on the first Beoplay A1 and pair it with your phone. To learn more about the Bluetooth pairing process, click here

    Open the Bang & Olufsen app

     Open the app and add the first Beoplay A1 speaker to the app. 
    • Choose the name and colour (or leave the default selected).

    Select the master speaker

    • Tap on the Beoplay A1 that you paired with your phone. This will become the "master" speaker and play the left channel.

    Select the secondary speaker

     Once the connection is established, you can tap "Connect" under "Stereo Pairing" to initiate the stereo pairing procedure. 
    • Switch on the second Beoplay A1.
    • Add the second Beoplay A1 speaker to the app. 
    • Tap on the second Beoplay A1 that you paired with your phone. This will become the "secondary" speaker and play the right channel.
    • Both units will now connect to each other and give a sound prompt to confirm that they are connected in wireless stereo.
