Can I set a limit for the sound level on my Beoplay M5?

Yes, you can use the Bang & Olufsen app to set your preferred limit for the sound level by selecting sound settings on the Beoplay M5 page.

Open the Bang & Olufsen app

  • Once the Bang & Olufsen app is open, tap on Beoplay M5 to open the product page. If your Beoplay M5 is not added to the Bang & Olufsen app, learn how to do so here.

Access the sound settings menu

  • Scroll down on the Beoplay M5 product page and tap on "Sound settings".

Customise the sound levels

  • Default volume: This is the volume level that Beoplay M5 starts playing when switched on.
  • Max volume: Sets the maximum possible volume level for your Beoplay M5.

    Note: The default volume level for Beoplay M5 cannot exceed 60. This is to prevent hearing damage.
