Beoplay H9 have one light indicator which is used for multiple functions:
| Flashing orange | Unit is charging |
| Solid green | Unit is charged |
| Solid red | The battery is under 10%. Charging required. |
| Red flashing | Less than 1% battery left. |
| Solid white | Switched on - visible for 30 seconds |
| Flashing blue | Bluetooth pairing mode (ready to pair) |
| Solid blue | Pairing successful (with sound prompt) - visible for 5 seconds |
| Solid red for 5 seconds | Pairing unsuccessful |
