Can I set a sound level limit on my Beosound 2?

Yes, you can use the Bang & Olufsen App to set your preferred sound level limit in the Sound settings menu accessed from the Beosound 2 product page.

Open the Bang & Olufsen app

  • Once the Bang & Olufsen app is open, tap on Beosound 2 to open the product page. If your Beosound 2 is not added to the Bang & Olufsen app, learn how to do so here.

Customise the sound levels

  • Access the sound setting menu.
  • Scroll down on the Beosound 2 product page and tap on "Sound settings".
  • Default volume: This is the volume level that Beosound 2 starts playing at when switched on.
  • Max volume: Sets the maximum possible volume level for your Beosound 2.

    Note: The default volume level for Beosound 2 cannot exceed 60. This is to prevent hearing damage.
