Via the Bang & Olufsen app, you can manage the Bluetooth connection between the speaker and your Bluetooth player and how they reconnect.
To access these Bluetooth settings:
- In the Bang & Olufsen app, tap the "Settings" icon in the upper-right corner
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Products"
- Select your Beosound 2
- Select "Configure"
- Select "Bluetooth"
- Select "Settings"
Now you have the following options:
-
Disable reconnect:
With this option, Beosound 2 needs to be in Bluetooth pairing mode to reconnect. -
Automatic reconnect:
If you select this option, Beosound 2 continuously searches for paired Bluetooth players. As soon as Beosound 2 finds a paired player, it connects to it and stops searching. If the connection to the player is lost, the Beosound 2 starts searching for a Bluetooth player to connect to. This option may not be an advantage, if you have paired your Beosound 2 with many different Bluetooth players, as the product will connect to the first player within range. -
Manual reconnect:
To reconnect manually, turn on Bluetooth on your device. Beosound 2 will appear as an available connection. Select Beosound 2 to connect.
- Tap 'Change' to Save.
If the setting 'Always open' for Bluetooth pairing has been disabled, please note that you need to initiate pairing via the Bang & Olufsen app via Products settings -> Configure -> Bluetooth - Pair devices. Learn more about the 'Always open' setting here.
