How do I connect Beosound 1 to a Wi-Fi network?

To make full use of Beosound 1 it is best to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. To add Beosound 1 to your Bang & Olufsen account and connect it to Wi-Fi, complete the following steps:

1. Connect the supplied power cable to the mains. 
2. Once powered on, the connectivity indicator and product indicator will flash white for 1½ minutes. After 1½ minutes, the connectivity indicator will turn orange, and a sound prompt is heard. This indicates that Beosound 1 is ready to use.
3. Open the Bang & Olufsen app. Select the "Settings" page, then "Products." If not downloaded already, you can download the Bang & Olufsen app here

        

4. In the "Products" screen, click the plus symbol to add a new device.
5. The app will ask you to turn Bluetooth on to discover the device.
6. Beosound 1 will now appear under "New Products Found." Click the plus sign to select the device.
7. Follow the set-up instructions on screen, including renaming the device.
8. Select the wireless network you would like to connect to, and then enter your password to connect your device to the network.
9. Proceed on the next screen to check for software updates. Install the software update if required.
