Spotify, TuneIn and Deezer can be set up for use with Beosound 1 by entering your credentials in the Bang & Olufsen app. Deezer and Spotify must be at least Premium accounts.
Note: TuneIn, Deezer and Spotify may not be available in all markets.
If you want to stream to your Beosound 1 (except if you use Bluetooth), the mobile device you are using and the Beosound 1 must be connected to the same home network.
Once you have started playback from Spotify, TuneIn or Deezer, you can close the app and even switch off your mobile device, and playback of the selected play queue will continue to the end or until you pause or switch off Beosound 1 or select a different source to play. Operation of Spotify, TuneIn and Deezer, such as stepping in tracks, can be done from the Bang & Olufsen app or by using the touch plate on top of Beosound 1. When the Bang & Olufsen app is running on the mobile device, you can “transfer” playback to Beosound 1 either by selecting the product in the app or by tapping the top of Beosound 1 shortly, the status indicator will flash white once as confirmation. It takes up to 5 seconds before the connection is established between your device and Beosound 1.
If Spotify, Deezer or TuneIn is muted, paused or one of the services that were the last played on the selected source, you can “tap into” the music source by tapping the top of Beosound 1.
