You can check that the battery life is ok by completing the easy to follow step-by-step instructions below. The test is an accelerated stress test that will verify the battery functionality.
Please note that battery life depends on the volume level and intensity of the music. This means that the battery drains faster when you play at high volume levels or you play music with high intensity, such as heavy metal.
Please follow the steps below to evaluate the battery condition:
a) Charge the Beoplay A2 battery to full capacity with the included DC adaptor until the battery LED lights constant green.
b) Disconnect the DC adaptor cable and turn on the Beoplay A2
c) Pair and connect the Beoplay A2 to a mobile phone and start playing music.
d) On the mobile phone set the volume level to maximum.
e) On your Beoplay A2 set the volume to zero by pressing the volume down (–) button for 6 seconds. The volume shall be muted.
f) Set the volume on the Beoplay A2 level to step sixteen (16) by pressing the volume up (+) button briefly - less than 1 second - sixteen (16) times. For each press wait and verify that the LED flashes before pressing the button again.
The Beoplay A2 unit shall play continuously for at least six (6) hours to verify a fully functional battery life.
