How do I test the battery performance of my Beoplay A1?

Beoplay_A1_Mark.jpg

Completing the step-by-step instructions below will help you perform an accelerated stress test that verifies the battery performance.

Please note that battery life depends on the volume level and intensity of the music. This means that the battery drains faster when you play music with high intensity, such as heavy metal, and/or play at high volume levels.

Please follow the steps below to evaluate the battery performance:

  1. Fully charge your Beoplay A1 using the included charger until the battery LED is a constant green.
  2. Disconnect the charging cable and switch on Beoplay A1.
  3. Pair and connect Beoplay A1 to a mobile device and start playing music.
  4. Set the volume level to maximum on the mobile phone.
  5. Set the volume level to zero on your Beoplay A1 by pressing the volume down button (-) for 6 seconds. The volume will be muted.
  6. Set the volume level to step 16 on the Beoplay A1 by briefly pressing the volume up button (+) - less than 1 second - sixteen times. Verify that the LED flashes after each button press before pressing the button again.

The Beoplay A1 must now be able to play continuously for at least six hours. Otherwise, the battery may be faulty.
