Beosound Balance first-time setup

Use the Bang & Olufsen app to configure and connect your Beosound Balance to your network.

      Open the Bang & Olufsen app

      • Tap on "Add a product".
      • Scroll to the left under "Wireless sound systems" and tap on Beosound Balance.

      Connect the power cable 

      • Connect your Beosound Balance to the mains supply.
      • Tap "NEXT" in the app.

      Wait for the Beosound Balance to start

      • Please allow your Beosound Balance up to 2 minutes to boot up and load all required services.

      Complete setup

      • Once the indicator has turned orange, your Beosound Balance is ready for setup.
      • Follow the steps in the Bang & Olufsen app to connect your Beosound Balance to your Wi-Fi and enjoy all features available.

      Note: Your mobile device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you want to connect your Beosound Balance to.

      Complete the setup with Google Home

      • After your Beosound Balance has been added to the Bang & Olufsen app, you can set up the Google Assistant using the Google Home app - provided that your Beosound Balance supports the Google Assistant feature.
      • Select the house where the Beosound Balance is located.
      • Choose a language for Google Assistant.
      • Select the location of your Beosound Balance in the house.
      • Follow the instructions to teach Google Assistant to recognise your voice.
      • Select the default music service to play music from.
