How do I set up Beoplay A9 4th Gen for a new network?

If you want to change the wireless network that your Beoplay A9 4th Gen is connected to, you can set up Beoplay A9 for a new network, using:

  A) iOS device and the WAC (Wireless Accessory Configuration) feature (only for iOS ≥ 7.0).

  B) iOS or Android device and the Google Home App.

A) To set up Beoplay A9 4th Gen using WAC (iOS ≥ 7.0)

- Press the Reset button inside the Beoplay A9 4th Gen socket panel at the back of the speaker. Ensure product indicator flashes orange.
- Select the wireless network on your iOS device.
- Select “Setup new AirPlay speaker”.
- Select your home network and press “Next”.
- When “Setup complete” appears, press “Done”. When the network indicator turns white (or orange), Beoplay A9 4th Gen is connected to the network.

 

B) To set up Beoplay A9 4th Gen via the Google Home App

- Download the Google Home App from the App Store or Google Play.
- Select the wireless network on your device.
- Press the Reset button inside the Beoplay A9 socket panel at the back of the speaker. Ensure product indicator flashes orange.
- Open the Google Home App.
- Click the “Discover” icon (second icon from the left at the bottom).
- Select “New Device Found”.
- Follow the instructions to set up the speaker.
