How do I reset my Beosound Edge?

If you e.g. wish to remove all paired Bluetooth devices, you can reset Beosound Edge to factory settings as described below:

Switch on your speaker

  • Connect the power cable to the mains. 
  • Wait for the light indicator to switch from white to orange.
    This can take up to two minutes.

Reset Beosound Edge

  • Press and hold the reset button (cogwheel symbol) for more than 10 seconds to trigger a factory reset.
  • After approximately one minute, your Beosound Edge is ready for the first-time setup. Click here for more details.
  • If the speaker has been set up in the Bang & Olufsen app before, make sure to delete it from the product list before adding it again.
