You can adjust the picture settings via the Picture menu.

Smart Picture Mode

When this is enabled, the TV will automatically adjust to the optimal picture settings based on data it receives on the genre of the programme being played.
Set the option to On to enable this mode.
- If you enable this feature, you cannot set Picture Mode manually.
- Only available with digital broadcasts.
- Programmes connected to the HDMI IN are not supported by Smart Picture Mode.
- This feature is available in certain countries only.

- If the HDR / Dolby Vision video signal is input to the models that do not support the HDR / Dolby Vision technology, it will provide normal signals picture mode options.
- The configurable items differ depending on model or country.
- Depending on the input signal, the available picture modes may be different.
- When watching online service content, the Picture Mode may be changed to match the content being shown.
- ISF Expert is an option that allows a picture quality expert to fine-tune the quality of the standard picture. Thus, it may not be effective for a normal picture.*
- Picture Mode change may modify Energy Saving and Motion Eye Care settings and it can affect energy consumption. You can adjust their settings manually in the Energy Saving and Picture Options menu.
*ISF is available on some markets only, for other markets, select a mode that is suitable for a movie screen.

Picture Mode Settings

OLED LIGHT
Adjusts the display brightness by varying the brightness of the OLED panel.
Contrast
Adjusts the contrast of the bright and dark areas of the picture. The closer to 100, the higher the contrast.Brightness

Resetting Picture Mode
This option will reset the Picture settings.*
- You can reset the Picture modes separately. Select the Picture mode you wish to reset and enable it.

Aspect Ratio Settings

For some markets, the following applies, described by LG:
- This product allows you to choose from various screen sizes. If you select a mode with a different aspect ratio than the original aspect ratio, such as a TV broadcast, the aspect ratio will be different from the original picture.
- Depending on the combination of picture format and screen size, the edges may be hidden or shown in black, or both sides of the picture may flicker. Also, when selecting an item shown on the broadcast screen, the outline may not be aligned correctly.
- Using the screen resizing feature to compress, expand or otherwise manipulate the picture when the product is used for commercial purposes or public viewing may constitute an infringement of copyright which is protected by law.
Energy Saving
For information about energy saving, LG describes:
Reduces power consumption by adjusting screen brightness.
Auto
TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness.

Off
Turns off the Energy Saving mode.Minimum / Medium / Maximum

OLED Panel Settings

With OLED Panel Settings, you can improve image quality issues related to image sticking when the screen has been on for a certain amount of time.
Pixel Refresher
It calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time.
Calibration takes more than an hour.
- START ONCE TV IS OFF : Press the Power button to turn off the TV when you are done watching. The Pixel Refresher will start running.
- START NOW : Your TV turns off immediately and the Pixel Refresher starts running. The TV will automatically turn back on when it is done.
If you power on the TV, the Pixel Refresher will stop operating.
Screen Shift
This moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to prevent image sticking on the display panel.
Picture Test
For information about the picture test, LG describes:
First of all, start the Picture Test to see whether the video signal output is normal, and then select whether there is an error.
If there are no problems in the test picture, check the connected external device or broadcast signal.
