How do I reset Beosound A1 2nd Generation and remove all paired Bluetooth devices?

If you want to remove all paired Bluetooth devices or are experiencing issues while trying to connect, you can reset your Beosound A1 2nd Generation to factory settings as described below:

    Fully charge the Beosound A1 2nd Generation

    • Connect the included USB cable to the charging port and a charging adapter to a power supply.
    • After charging the Beosound A1 2nd Generation for around 3 hours, proceed to the next steps

    Note: You can use a charging adapter of a maximum of 5V / 3A to charge your Beosound A1 2nd Generation.

    Switch on Beosound A1 2nd Generation

     Switch on your Beosound A1 2nd Generation by short pressing the power button

    Reset Beosound A1 2nd Generation

    • Press and hold the Bluetooth and the power buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. 

    This resets the speaker to factory settings and the speaker will be in pairing mode when you switch it on.

    After resetting you will need to pair your Beosound A1 2nd Generation to your mobile device again. This means that you need to remove Beosound A1 2nd Generation from the list of paired Bluetooth devices on your mobile device before adding them again.
