The table below offers a detailed description of the different IP certification levels. The first number relates to solids protection (e.g. dust) whilst the second number relates to liquids protection. For the Beosound A1 2nd Gen with an IP67 rating, this means that it is fully dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
