If Alexa has been set up but is not connected to the app, then when the voice assistant hears a trigger word, e.g. ‘Alexa’, it will try to respond but not be successful. To resolve this, either connect the speaker to the Alexa app or mute/disable Alexa in Beosound A1 2nd Generation. Click here for more details.
Note, your mobile device’s power management settings may have turned off the Alexa app running in the background if it has not been used for some time. This can be updated in your mobile device’s settings.
