Why did the software update of my Beoplay E8 Sport stop during the updating process?

It is important to charge your Beoplay E8 Sport fully before initiating a software update. During the software update, make sure not to place the earbuds in the charging case as this will switch them off and interrupt the software update.  
Please also ensure that nothing comes in direct contact with the touchpad on the earbuds as this may stop the updating process.
