- Make sure that your computer and Beoplay A8 are in the same network.
- The network button
must be solid white. If the network button is switched off, press it shortly and wait approx. 2 minutes until it becomes solid white.

Find Beoplay A8 on your Mac/PC:
- MacOS:
Find the IP-address of the Beoplay A8. We recommend using the app 'Fing' (iOS / Android). Open the Apple Safari browser and enter the IP-address.
- With Windows 10:
Click ‘Network’ in the left pane and double-click on 'Beoplay A8 xxxxxxxx'*.
If you cannot see your Beoplay A8, you must turn on sharing for the network you are connected to.
- With Windows 8:
>Point to the upper-right corner of the screen > move the mouse pointer down and then click ‘Search’ > click ‘Apps’, enter File Explorer in the search box and press Enter. Click ‘Network’ in the left pane and double-click on 'Beoplay A8 xxxxxxxx'*.
If you cannot see your Beoplay A8, you must turn on sharing for the network you are connected to.
- With Windows 7:
> Right-click on 'Start' and click 'Open Windows Explorer' > click 'Network' (in the left pane) and double-click on 'Beoplay A8 xxxxxxxx'*.
If network discovery is disabled, you must enable it to be able to see your BeoPlay A8.
- With Windows Vista:
> Right-click on 'Start' and click 'Explore' > click 'Network' (in the left pane) and double-click on 'Beoplay A8 xxxxxxxx'*.
If network discovery is disabled, you must enable it to be able to see your BeoPlay A8.
- With Windows XP:
> Right-click on 'Start' and click 'Explore' > click 'My Network Places' (in the left pane) and double-click on 'Product name_xxxxxxxx'*.
If you cannot see your Beoplay A8, you must enable Windows to display HomeMedia (UPnP) devices. Select between the different menus and follow on-screen instructions.
- MacOS:
*'XXXXXXXX' corresponds to the serial number of your product. If you have changed the name of your Beoplay A8, the name you have chosen is shown instead.
Important! You may not be able to use your workplace computer to change settings on your Beoplay A8, due to security restrictions, including firewall settings and assignment of IP addresses. Contact your network administrator for assistance.
