The 8-pin dock must be mounted in order to dock an iPad on the Beoplay A8.
Remove the lid covering the hole by inserting, for example, a screwdriver and gently lift it off. Then mount the new dock.
Mount the extension cap on the new dock:
To make sure that the iPad is stable, you should also mount the two rubber ‘bumpers’ enclosed with the Beoplay A8. The ‘bumpers’ should be mounted with a distance of approximately 5 cm on each side of the centre of the 8-pin dock:
