How do I know that I have updated my Beoplay A8 with the latest software?

To see if you have the latest software, connect your Beoplay A8 to your network using an Ethernet cable. 

The network button mceclip0.png must be solid white. If the network button is switched off, press it shortly and wait approx. 2 minutes until it becomes solid white. 

Open the ‘Bang & Olufsen’ app and select the Beoplay A8 on the front page. If the product has not been added to the Bang & Olufsen app before, press the '+' icon in the upper right corner and add the product to the app.

Once the Beoplay A8 is selected on the front page, choose Product settings and Configure. If new software is available, the text 'NEW SOFTWARE AVAILABLE' is shown.
