If you are experiencing issues logging in to your Google account from an Android device, even after providing the correct credentials and password, please try following the steps below:

    Set up Google 2-step verification

    • To set up this verification option, follow the instructions found on this page

    Sign in using 2-step verification

    • Sign in again providing your credentials and password.
    • A verification message will be sent to your phone to authorise access to your account.

Note: Depending on the 2-factor method selected for the Google account, this procedure may vary. In this example, ‘Phone prompt’ is selected, but in other cases, you may be asked to verify a 6-digit code sent to an external device.
