Keep your Beo Grace earphones clean for optimal sound quality. Earwax and debris can affect performance, but cleaning is simple if you follow these steps:
1. Remove the ear tips
Pull firmly at the base of the ear tip where it attaches to the earphone. For better grip, roll the outer part of the ear tip inside-out or use a clean cloth.
2. Clean the ear tips
Rinse the silicone ear tips in lukewarm water (max. 42° C), making sure that earwax and other debris are removed.
Note: Be careful not to damage the built-in mesh filter.
3. Clean the earphone meshes
Use a soft-bristled brush (e.g., a children’s toothbrush) to gently clean the aluminium mesh and microphones.
For deeper cleaning:
- Dip the brush in lukewarm water (max. 42° C).
- Hold the earphone with the mesh facing upward.
- Brush the mesh in a circular motion for about 15 seconds.
- Place the earphone on a paper towel so that the mesh touches the paper towel.
Repeat three times per mesh.
4. Attach the ear tips
Ensure that the ear tips are completely dry before reattaching them.
5. Clean the entire earphone
Clean each earphone with a cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water (max. 42° C), and dry it with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
6. Clean the charging case
- Wipe with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth.
- If necessary, dampen the cloth slightly with isopropyl alcohol (60-70%).
- Use a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush or cotton swab to carefully remove debris from the charging ports.
Important: - Do not use abrasive materials to clean any parts of the charging case.
- Avoid damaging the charging ports.
- Do not subject the charging points to liquid.
7. Make sure Beo Grace are dry
Allow the earphones and charging case to dry completely for at least two hours at room temperature before use or charging.
