Why is the battery playtime of my Beo Grace decreasing?

Beo Grace Header.png

Rechargeable batteries are consumable components that chemically age and become less effective over time, and the capacity of any type of battery will diminish after a certain number of charges.

With each complete charge cycle, the battery’s maximum capacity (the “volume” of the energy that a battery can hold) diminishes slightly, resulting in a device needing to be recharged more often.

At the heart of Beo Grace is a custom-designed battery management system that has surpassed 2,000* charge cycles in internal testing, setting a new benchmark in audio. Compared with the 500 cycles** that are standard in most consumer electronics, this demonstrates what’s possible when software and design work together to extend battery life.
