There are two prerequisites for using Beosound Premiere as a soundbar for a TV:
- ARC/eARC
The TV supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) or eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel). This is necessary in order to play the sound from the sources or apps from the connected TV. - HDMI-CEC
HDMI-CEC enables the TV to switch on and off Beosound Premiere and vice versa*. Please note that HDMI-CEC can have different names depending on the TV manufacturer. For example, for LG screens it is called "SimpLink". Please refer to the TVs user guide for more information.
*HDMI-CEC is implemented in different ways, depending on the TV manufacturer. We cannot guarantee that Beosound Premiere will work with all implementations.
