If the speaker can be operated normal, but the volume level seems not to play loud enough, a volume limitation may be enabled in the speaker. This can be verified in the Bang & Olufsen app where the maximum volume will be at 70 instead of 90.
To disable this volume limitation and allow a higher maximum volume level, follow these steps:
- Switch on the speaker.
- Press and hold Vol+ and Vol- buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds.
- The product indicator will flash once, and you will hear a sound prompt from speaker. This confirms that the volume limitation setting has been disabled.
