Add Apple TV to a room
To enable AirPlay and make Apple TV* discoverable in the Apple Home app, you will need to assign it to a room.
On Apple TV, go to: Settings / AirPlay / Room and assign the Apple TV to the room.

Experiencing echo?
When playing to or from an Apple TV together with other speakers, you may experience a slight echo in the sound. This can be solved by running a feature on the Apple TV called ‘Wireless Audio Sync’.
This feature will determine how much the audio is delayed through your TV by using the microphone in an iPhone and adjust all AirPlay compatible devices in your network, allowing them to compensate for the delay.
