How do I add AirPlay speakers to the Apple Home app?

After completing a few steps, it is possible to voice control AirPlay speakers using Apple’s voice assistant Siri via your iPhone or iPad.

Before AirPlay speakers can be controlled by Siri, they need to be added to Apple's Home app.

Open the Home app on your Apple mobile device. Create a Home, if not already created.
Press '+' at the top of the screen
Select 'Add Accessory'
Select 'More options... '
Select your compatible AirPlay speaker
Assign the speaker to a room
Rename the speaker, if necessary
