Manage external speakers

To manage which speakers are connected to the system, navigate to Sound > Connected speakers.

Digital Power Link


 

Digital Power Link (DPL) is the technology that enables Beolink Surround and Beolink Stereo. 

DPL is a network-based audio streaming protocol developed by Bang & Olufsen. When using DPL, a Mozart Platform™ soundbar or TV will be able to connect to Mozart Platform™ speakers* for an immersive, high-quality surround sound experience.

*Requires software version 4.1.1 or higher

  1. Select Digital Power Link in Connected speakers
  2. All connected Digital Power Link speakers are shown with a checkmark
  3. Remove the checkmark from the speakers you wish to disconnect and press Confirm.

 

Please note that all Listening Positions that include the selected speakers must be reconfigured.

Power Link


 

Power Link secures a high-quality analogue connection between Beosound/Beovision Theatre and a Beolab speaker. A Power Link cable includes up to two channels of audio, allowing you to daisy-chain two speakers, a trigger voltage to switch the speaker(s) on and off with the TV, and Power Link data (for compatible speakers).

  1. In the Power Link section you will see the configured Power Link speakers
  2. Tap "..." next to the speaker you want to remove

  1. Tap Remove to confirm.

 

Please note that all Listening Positions that include the selected speakers must be reconfigured.

Wireless Power Link


 

Wireless Power Link is based on WiSA-technology and offers a high-quality and low-latency audio transfer.

  1. In the Wireless Power Link section you will see the configured Wireless Power Link speakers
  2. Tap "..." next to the speaker you want to remove

  1. Tap Remove to confirm.

 

Please note that all Listening Positions that include the selected speakers must be reconfigured.
