How do I update my Beoplay H9i with the latest software?


To enjoy the latest features, we recommend that you always install the latest software version. You can update the software via the Bang & Olufsen app: 
Select the product and tap “Product Settings -> Software -> Update Software”.

You can download the Bang & Olufsen app here:



You can also update using a Mac or Windows computer. Install the Beoplay Software Updater here and follow the steps below:

    Open Beoplay Software Updater

    • Select Beoplay H9i from the list of products.
    • Click Download to start downloading the update.

    Note: Download times may vary depending on your Internet connection.

    Connect and reset your Beoplay H9i

    • Connect the USB-C cable to your computer and then to your Beoplay H9i.
    • Perform a factory reset by moving the switch to Bluetooth position and holding for about 12 seconds.
    • Click Continue and wait for the update to finish.

    Update successful

    • Disconnect the USB-C cable from your Beoplay H9i.
    Your Beoplay H9i are now ready for use.

    Note: You will have to establish a new Bluetooth connection to your favourite devices.
