The voice assistant is per default disabled on Beosound A1 2nd Generation until it is set up. If it is set up, the voice assistant can be muted from listening with a long press on the Microphone button. The light indicator will turn solid red to confirm this action and dim after 5 minutes to conserve battery. Alternatively, the voice assistant can be disabled entirely in the Bang & Olufsen app.
