I cannot connect my Bluetooth device to my Beolit 20 even though they have already been paired, why?

If you cannot connect your Bluetooth device to an already paired Beolit 20, try the following:

  1. Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your device, that you have selected Beolit 20 in the Bluetooth device list on your device and that the connection has been confirmed by your device.
  2. If you have paired more than eight devices, Beolit 20 automatically deletes the profile of the device less recently used. However, it may still appear in the Bluetooth device list on your device, but you will not be able to connect it to your speaker until you have paired your device to your speaker again.
  3. Only two devices can be connected to Beolit 20 at the same time. If you want to connect a third device, you must first disconnect both devices before adding one or two new devices.
  4. The Bluetooth device may be out of range. Move it closer to your Beolit 20.
  5. Switch off all other Bluetooth devices within range or disable their Bluetooth functionality, if possible.
  6. Move your device away from other devices that generate interference, such as cordless phones, microwave ovens or wireless equipment.
  7. Switch Beolit 20 off and back on, and pair it with your device again.
  8. Forget Beolit 20 from the Bluetooth list on your device and reconnect.
