I cannot use Bluetooth to stream to my Beoplay M3, what can I do?

Below is a list of troubleshooting tips that will help you solve various Bluetooth connection issues.

If you cannot pair your Bluetooth device with your Beoplay M3:

  1. As a point-to-point source, Bluetooth on Beoplay M3 is always open for pairing. To turn this setting off/on, follow the steps here.
  2. Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your device and that you have selected Beoplay M3 in the Bluetooth device list on your device and the connection has been confirmed by your device.

If you cannot connect your Bluetooth device to an already paired Beoplay M3:

  1. Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your device and that you have selected Beoplay M3 in the Bluetooth device list on your device and the connection has been confirmed by your device.
  2. If you have paired more than 8 devices, your Beoplay M3 automatically deletes the profile of the first paired device. However, Beoplay M3 may still appear in the Bluetooth device list on your device but you will not be able to connect your device to Beoplay M3 until it has been paired again. If you cannot stream from your Bluetooth device to your Beoplay M3:

  1. Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your device and that you have selected Beoplay M3 in the Bluetooth device list on your device and the connection has been confirmed by your device.
  2. Make sure that the device you want to hear music from is connected to your Beoplay M3 and that music is playing.
  3. Make sure that the volume on the Beoplay M3 and your mobile phone/Bluetooth is turned up.

If above did not solve the problem, try the following:

  1. Your device may be out of range. Move it closer to your Beoplay M3.
  2. Switch off all other Bluetooth devices within range or disable their Bluetooth functionality if possible.
  3. Move your Beoplay M3 away from other devices that generate interference, such as cordless phones, microwave ovens or wireless equipment.
  4. Switch your Bluetooth device off and back on.
  5. Switch your Beoplay M3 off and back on.
