Beo Grace Header.png

Beo Grace support different modes for listening to music. These give you the possibility to be immersed in a full surround experience when listening to Dolby Atmos sound, the feeling of sitting in the sweetspot of a loudspeaker system when using the Virtualise mode, or simply listening to stereo music in your own enclosed space. Configuring Spatial Audio on Beo Grace

Beo Grace support three Spatial Audio modes for stereo and Dolby Atmos content. Spatial Audio is configured using the Bang & Olufsen app by pressing and holding the Spatial Audio button on the product page.

Tapping the Spatial Audio button toggles between enabling the last activated Spatial Audio mode and disabling Spatial Audio.

Spatial Audio modes

Off

All Spatial Audio processing is disabled, and Beo Grace will play the audio content in stereo.

Virtualise

This setting lets you experience a virtual stereo loudspeaker setup in your headphones.
If your device supports Dolby Atmos, we recommend disabling it when using Virtualise.

Disable Dolby Atmos for Apple Music (iOS):
Settings > Music > Dolby Atmos > Off

For other streaming services, make sure to select tracks that do not include the Dolby Atmos logo.

Tap the toggle if you wish to enable Head Tracking also.

Immersive

This setting is optimised for listening to Dolby Atmos content. It requires that you configure your source device correctly for Dolby Atmos.

Enable Dolby Atmos for Apple Music (iOS):
Settings > Music > Dolby Atmos > Always On

For other streaming services, select tracks that include the Dolby Atmos logo.

Tap the toggle if you wish to enable Head Tracking also.

Note that the selection of Virtualise and Immersive is not automatically selected based on the source device configuration. Therefore, it’s important to select the Spatial Audio mode based on what the source device is streaming.

Note! If your source device and/or streaming service does not support Dolby Atmos, your device will stream stereo content.
