If you experience difficulties connecting your Beosound 1 to Wi-Fi, you may find the below tips useful:
- Reset
- Reset Beosound 1 (learn how to reset Beosound 1 here).
- Restart your mobile device and ensure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as Beosound 1.
- Open the Bang & Olufsen app to set up Beosound 1 again. - Incorrect password
- If you enter an incorrect password during setup, you will need to perform a factory reset
- Once reset, close and open the Bang & Olufsen app to set up Beosound 1 again. - Network names containing special characters
- Wi-Fi network names that contain special characters are not supported by Beosound 1. If your Wi-Fi network name contains special characters, remove them before connecting your Beosound 1. Alternatively, connect to a different network. - Bluetooth
- We recommend setting up Wi-Fi before pairing Beosound 1 with Bluetooth devices. If an error occurs, reset Beosound 1 to factory settings to remove all paired devices and set up Beosound 1 once again. - Cabled connection
- If you still experience Wi-Fi issues, connect Beosound 1 to a router using an RJ45 Ethernet cable and follow the setup procedure to test the wireless setup. If you are able to set up Beosound 1 when connected to the router via cable, try changing the Wi-Fi channel on the router to one that is less crowded.
